Register NOW for Supporting Student Wellbeing and Mental Health- NEW in Term 3

Registrations for ALL OLT courses starting in term 3 close on 21st June (end of week 9).

Groups of 8 or more from the same school are encouraged to contact Consultant Inclusive Practice at to discuss how the course can be delivered in your school context.

Courses take a minimum of 20 hours to complete over a 10 - 12 week period, including three face-to-face sessions. The remainder of the content is online.

The NEW course in Term 3 is Supporting Student Wellbeing and Mental Health which focuses on:
•the main types of mental health disorders
•measuring student needs and evaluating the success of interventions  that support social and emotional learning
•approaches that support wellbeing and mental health in schools, including trauma informed practice, growth mindset, mindfulness, resilience and strength-based strategies.

Meet our 15 new Tutors trained in 2018

In 2018 we have trained 15 new tutors.

Here's some odd, yet interesting, facts about them....

  • One of them is from the Independent Schools sector
  • Three of them are from the Catholic Education sector 
  • Five of them have completed multiple OLT courses- one has even done all six courses!!
  • Seven of them are based in schools- Centralian Middle School, Palmerston PLC, Palmerston Christian School, Palmerston College, Nemarluk, Taminmin College and Murrupurtiyanuwu Catholic College (Bathurst Island).
  • Ten of them have already facilitated an OLT cohort during 2018, between them covering all 6 courses offered in the NT.
