Welcome to Term 3
25th Jul 2019
We have reached a number of very exciting milestones in the last few days. Nicole Kowald started the 5 000th cohort this week. It is a dyslexia cohort at Woolgoolga Public School. Melynda Carr, a participant in Angela Hall’s Glen Innes dyslexia cohort today clicked the course places counter over to 40 000! Congratulations to everyone who has assisted in these achievements.
In other news, towards the end of last term 62 tutors came to Sydney for two days to preview and provide feedback on the new Supporting student wellbeing and mental health course. For the third day we held two separate days in Sydney and also went to regional areas. Jenny travelled to Tamworth, Warrick travelled to Coffs Harbour, Sue travelled to Dubbo and Jane went to Adamstown.
We received lots of wonderful feedback and are still making changes. Warrick has worked hard to have the course Education Services quality assured and registered with NESA for 40 hours accreditation. This has now been achieved.
The team will be out making quality assurance visits again this term and we are looking forward to working with our great tutors.
