I'm so passionate about these courses because I've seen them make real change in how our staff view the students in their care. I've had such memorable experiences with the OLT team - and honestly, so much fun! My absolute favourite memory was creating a brand-new course for the NT. I got to travel with Nick Maloney and Jacqui Webber-Gant to schools right across the Territory - from Darwin city out to the most remote places. We were spotting crocodiles in Kakadu, sitting in on School of the Air classes in Katherine... it was incredible! Those adventures really showed me what OLT is all about - we're genuinely committed to bringing quality education everywhere, no matter how far out you are.

Carmel has been a real champion for OLT, sometimes under difficult circumstances, but has always delivered the courses with dedication and belief that the benefits will reach the children in need of support. On top of that she's just a great person. Thank you, Carmel.

Carmel was an early adopter of our OLT courses and has championed them for some 15 years in the various jurisdictions where she has worked. She has always made a valuable contribution to the development of both content and the learning management system underlying the courses, and has excelled throughout as an online and face to face tutor.

Reaching this incredible milestone, Carmel's work shows how one exceptional tutor can create ripples of positive change, motivating and supporting teachers and students right across Australia.

Congratulations, Carmel, on this well-deserved recognition as our Star Tutor!
