OLT provides high-quality professional development courses for school staff supporting children with disability. Our courses are designed to help teaching professionals better meet the additional needs of students with disabilities through practical, evidence-based approaches.

While many schools access our courses through their jurisdiction or education system licenses, we also support and work directly with independent schools and schools and individuals - without existing jurisdiction arrangements.

Our comprehensive course offerings

Tutored courses
$300 per enrolment

Each course provides an in-depth understanding of a specific disability, includes real-life case studies, practical assessment approaches, and intervention and adjustment strategies that can be implemented immediately. Schools without jurisdiction licenses can enrol staff with expert OLT tutors who provide personalised guidance and feedback.
STEPS — Whole-School Disability & Inclusion Training
Flexible access options available

STEPS provides specialist disability and inclusion training for every member of your school community — from education support staff to leadership. With 8 courses, three progressive learning levels, and built-in AI goal-setting, STEPS builds sustainable in-house expertise across your whole school.
Short courses
$75 per enrolment

Self-paced learning modules that address particular areas of need and improve understanding and knowledge. These focused courses offer flexible professional development opportunities for busy educators.

All courses include AI-powered support to enhance the learning experience, with content written and regularly updated by subject matter experts. Our courses align with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to support professional growth and development.

Flexible access options for schools

We offer two ways to access our courses:

Through a jurisdiction license
Staff employed by an education system that holds a jurisdictional licence do not pay to take our courses. They can enrol in tutored courses with a local tutor, and now also access the full STEPS platform — all 8 specialist disability and inclusion courses — through their school, at no additional cost.
Direct school access
Transform your school's professional learning — on your terms
For schools not covered by a jurisdictional licence, STEPS is our flagship whole-school disability and inclusion training platform. Purchase a STEPS licence to give your entire staff unlimited access to all 8 specialist courses, three learning levels, and built-in AI goal-setting.

Need something more tailored? Schools can also commission customised tutored courses where OLT provides the tutor, or arrange individual enrolments into tutored and short courses.

Parents and carers

Our courses for parents and carers continue to be offered free of charge, providing valuable resources to support home-school partnerships. We do charge a $50 fee for anyone who wants to have a certificate of course completion, and is not covered by a jurisdiction license.
