The tutor-led courses offered by the NSW Department of Education have successfully been quality assured by the department’s Learning Quality team. The quality assurance process ensures staff have access to evidence-based, high-quality, accessible and consistently reviewed professional learning.
There are a range of course options available to NSW Department of Education staff.
- Tutor-led courses facilitated by trained tutors, where participants study in small learning groups and through individual self-paced online study. To find available tutor-led courses, browse MyPL using the search words Online Training Australia. Tutor-led courses are subject to tutor availability and take a minimum of 10-weeks to complete.
- Short, online courses are available on demand for department staff and their school communities. The courses can be accessed at https://aus.oltinternational.net/ . Register or log in with your department email address.
- Parent courses provide evidence-based information and resources and can be offered to school communities free of charge. These courses also provide valuable learning for department staff.
If you have any questions regarding the courses, please don’t hesitate to contact us at disabilitylearning@det.nsw.edu.au.
